I just sat down, a little bit sweaty, a little bit out of breath, and all of a sudden feeling a whole lot lighter. The reason? I just spent a few good minutes dancing in my living room. I can’t even remember why I had gotten up in the first place – water refill? Bathroom break? No clue. But all of a sudden I just found myself moving with the music that has been accompanying my paper-writing for the past 8 or so hours. I can’t remember the last time that happened… especially being stone-cold sober. Dancing is not something I’m good at, nor is it something that I really ever want to do.
But it felt
My muscles needed that, my joints needed that, my brain needed that.
Maybe I’ll try that more often.
